Hill, a family-owned five star housebuilder, is bringing forward proposals for a high-quality, sustainable residential development, on land north of Oldbury Lane, Thornbury.
We are engaging with local residents, community groups and key stakeholders ahead of launching a full public consultation this Summer, during which further details of our proposals will be shared.
Our vision is to deliver high-quality, sustainable residential scheme which has nature woven into the fabric of the development. The scheme also includes the delivery of a new community hub (the “Oldbury Barn”), which we would like to see operated by a local community group.
The proposals would deliver significant social and environmental benefits, with over 50% of the site retained as green space. Our emerging plans feature a number of green, inclusive, and community-focused elements. These include dedicated play areas, food-growing spaces, enhanced wildlife habitats, and the creation of a new Orchard Walk, designed as a tranquil and biodiverse route for walking, reflection, and informal recreation.
We are also exploring the opportunity for on-site renewable energy generation to support the new homes and community facilities
